The Reversion series of paintings is dealing with the topic of time and its effect on all things, physical and non-physical.

There is an ethereal beauty to the artist that is time. The rusting of a barn door or the way moss grows across the surface of old wet wood over the course of many years. An old man’s face and the wrinkles of experience or a rusted temple door. I am drawn to any example of the passing of time and the result that time has on the physical world. I find comfort in the feeling of having arrived or of being at peace that these time worn images bring.
