I am so honored today to share the photos of the art I made for the new Sushi Sho in New York. Walking into Sushi Sho New York is an experience I won’t forget. The design and attention to detail is extraordinary and Chef Nakazawa has created a space and experience like no other, highlighting the best Japanese craftsmen and artists. Chef Nakazawa and I began talking about this collaboration over a year ago when he visited my studio in Karuizawa. Our shared vision is to bring Japanese culture to international audiences through food, art and crafts as a way to preserve the cultural heritage of Japan.
