Hewett was commissioned to design the glassware and cutlery for the two FuFu Hotels in Karuizawa which opened on December 24, 2023. The hexagon is a symbol of nature as it occurs in the cellular structure of many plants. Hewett chose this design as an elegant symbol for the natural Karuizawa settings where the FuFu Hotels are built.
