David Stanley Hewett is proud to be named the GLOBAL SEIKO ASTRON AMBASSADOR for the Seiko Watch Company.

David Hewett is one of the best-known foreign artists in Japan. Hewett creates Japanese Traditional Screens and pottery as well as designing Obis and Yukatas. Hewett has made it his goal to introduce Japanese craftsmanship to the world.

Hewett says: “The Japanese attention to detail and focus on excellence in traditional arts such as pottery and painting to high-tech design as with the Seiko Astron is what brought me to Japan to study 19 years ago and what will keep me here forever.

I am thrilled to be a Seiko Ambassador and share with the world, Seiko’s excellence in design and craftsmanship.”
